I am facing problems getting stainless steel components bright nickel plated (with copper undercoat). Either there is peel off or solderability is not there. (The component has to be soldered on a PCB).

Can somebody suggest any solution ?

Gentlemen

You may need to inform me where is the peel off occuring from ?

1) Between Nickel and Coipper layer ?

2) Between Copper and SS layer ?

After you inform me it is possible to advise you.

Could you plate flash gold on it. It could solve your problem Now adays it is possible to plate SS directly with gold.
